The shepherd’s hut was hand built by a craftsman in North Wales. It is 18 feet long and 8 feet wide, sitting on a steel chassis with original style turntable at the front. Its wriggly tin roof and Siberian Larch Timber cladding makes the shepherds hut have an original feel. A perfect blend of original features with luxury comforts.

Elephant View shepherd’s hut is placed in a pasture at the rear of a family run working farm. The hut has an amazing outdoor setting. The wood fired hot tub is perfect to relax, and soak up the breathtaking views after a day full of adventure. A wood fired oven is placed in your outdoor kitchen. Cook anything you fancy from homemade Pizzas, steaks and stews. You can really get creative and enjoy an amazing experience together. The kitchen is located outdoors under a canopy, with a romantic alfresco dining area.

A bespoke fire pit that really comes to life once the fire is lit, is placed next to a couple of wooden chairs, a perfect place to toast marshmallows and have a drink or two.

When you enter the shepherds hut through the barn door, you will notice that it has been designed around the surrounding scenery. The 2 peep windows at the rear of the hut gives you the option of watching the sunrise over the mountains while sipping your Morning brew in bed. The interior has a calm and relaxing feel.

A rustic worktop and luxury vinyl oak flooring sets the country tone. There is a cozy log effect electric fire, placed on a welsh slate hearth in the corner that warms the hut up nicely if needed. A kitchenette that has all you need. 2 ring induction hobs, Toaster, kettle, sink and a full-size fridge with freezer drawer.

The en suite bathroom consists of a wash basin, heated towel rail, electric shower and flushing toilet.

High quality cotton towels and toiletries are provided.

We have sourced as many local materials as possible to use at Elephant View. Welsh slate from the local quarries was used in the construction phase. Welsh Woolen blankets are placed on the lounge chairs to make it extra cozy around the campfire. And local produce is sourced for the welcome basket.

Most of the decorative added extras placed inside the hut, has a meaning or story of the surrounding area, there are paintings and poems by local people from the village placed on the walls of the hut at Elephant View.
